This is what will happen if we fail to speak up.

First they diminished our rights
And I did not speak out
Because they said it was to make us safer
Then they changed the privacy laws
And i did not speak out
Because I thought I had nothing to hide
Then they censored free speech
And I did not speak out
Because I felt I had nothing to say
Then they locked us up in our homes
And I did not speak out
Because I was scared they were telling the truth
Then we lost our businesses and jobs
And I did not speak out
Because the Government told us it was necessary
Then they offered us a meagre wage
And I did not speak out
Because I was anxious and desperate
Then they mandated vaccines
And I did not speak out
Because I’d forgotten about freedom and choice.
Then they came for those that fought for our rights
And I did not speak out
Because I was told they were dangerous and dumb
Then came the ID microchips
And I did not speak out
Because I was told it was for our own good
Then came the facial recognition cameras
And I did not speak out
Because I was too scared to think differently
Then came the new digital currency
And I did not speak out
Because I was told that cash carried disease
Then they controlled our movement
And I did not speak out
Because now I had nowhere to go
Then came Global Governance
And I did not speak out
Because I was told it would end wars, not knowing the war was against us.
Then came the Police State
And I did not speak out
Too scared to have the spotlight on me
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
Who dared speak out.
