Sarah Abu Lebdeh, 26, has been charged with a number of Commonwealth offences for comments including threats to kill Israeli patients.
One of the nurses who appeared on a video saying she would kill Israeli patients if they were in her care has been charged with a number of offences by detectives under Strike Force Pearl.
Sarah Abu Lebdeh, 26, was filmed making the comments by Israeli influencer Max Veifer, who films himself having discussions with people through apps designed to allow random people to be matched and chat on video.
In the video, Abu Lebdeh can be seen making a number of comments, including “I won’t treat them, I will kill them,” regarding potential Israeli patients.
The video was filmed while she was at work in Sydney’s Bankstown Hospital.
New South Wales (NSW) police confirmed woman’s arrest under Strike Force Pearl, which was specially set up to investigate anti-Semitism.
“Strike Force Pearl detectives have charged a woman over an anti-Semitic video posted online,” NSW police said in a statement provided to The Epoch Times.

“On Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025, Strike Force Pearl detectives commenced an investigation into an alleged anti-Semitic video filmed at Bankstown Hospital and circulated widely on social media.
“Following extensive inquiries, investigators arrested a 26-year-old woman after she attended Sutherland Police Station about 7:30 p.m. (Feb. 25).”
Police say the woman has been charged with a number of Commonwealth offences including threaten violence to group, use carriage service to threaten to kill and use carriage service to menace/harass/offend.
NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb said the charges were a major development in what has been a very thorough and exhaustive investigation by detectives.
“Strike Force Pearl detectives must be commended for acting swiftly under enormous pressure and public expectation,” she said in a statement.
“These charges have been laid following a lot of hard work and legal advice, received yesterday from the Commonwealth DPP (Director of Public Prosecutions).
“Detectives have overcome obstacles and jurisdictional challenges to get where we are today.”
Webb said the arrest was the 14th under Strike Force Pearl, with a total of 76 charges laid.
Abu Lebdeh of Condell Park has been granted conditional bail to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on March 19.
Investigations under Strike Force Pearl continue.
Other Nurse Receiving Medical Treatment
The Epoch Times understands the male nurse who appeared in the video with Abu Lebdeh, Ahmad Rashad Nadir, has continued to receive medical treatment.
In the same video, former Bankstown Hospital nurse Nadir told Veifer he had killed Israelis at his hospital.
“You have no idea how many Israelis … came to this hospital and I sent them to Jahannam [the Islamic term for hell], I literally sent them to Jahannam,” he is seen saying on the video.
Currently, he has not been charged.
