PERTH, Australia—Shadow spokesman for industry and sovereign capability and deputy leader of the House of Representatives Andrew Hastie has acknowledged the centre-right Liberals had leaned in too heavily to the left.
“The reason that the centre-right is at war with itself at the moment is because we have adopted elements … of the centre-left political vision,” Hastie told the Perth Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on March 6.
