The source claims that Tehran has not agreed to the immediate opening of the strait and believes that the process is only possible after the agreed-upon political conditions are met.

The Fars news agency, citing a military source, also denied reports that Iran has already agreed to the plan to open the Strait of Hormuz. The agency stated that such reports are false.
