“Due to ongoing unrest in the Middle East, KLM has decided to cancel all flights to Dubai up to and including March 28. The safety of our passengers and crew is always our top priority. We understand that this decision has a significant impact on our travellers and are doing everything possible to keep them well informed,” the statement read.

“Due to ongoing unrest in the Middle East, KLM will also not be flying to Riyadh and Dammam up to and including Thursday, March 12. We are closely monitoring the situation.”
KLM said it is continuing to monitor developments and remains in contact with relevant authorities regarding the situation and any potential resumption of services.
The airline added that it remains available to support repatriation operations for stranded travellers if requested by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A previously planned KLM repatriation flight from Muscat was cancelled and no new request for a follow-up flight has been received so far.
