LUX Property Group Appoints Five-Star General Manager to Lead Rapidly Expanding Accommodation Division
LUX Property Group has announced the appointment of a highly experienced General Manager, headhunted from a leading five-star resort and hotel in Bali, Indonesia, to lead its expanding accommodation division as the company accelerates the rollout of its hospitality portfolio across Bali and Lombok.
The newly appointed executive will oversee the rapidly growing Hotel K brand, Resort K developments, LUX Village accommodation portfolio, and the future hospitality ecosystem planned within Nesara Bay City in Lombok.
Leadership for Scale and Structure
According to LUX CEO Jamie McIntyre, the appointment reflects the company’s evolution from individual development projects into a structured, professionally managed hospitality group.
“We needed leadership that understands five-star systems and operational discipline,” the CEO said. “As our portfolio expands, putting the right systems, training frameworks, and operational structures in place becomes critical to maintaining quality and consistency across multiple locations.”
The General Manager’s responsibilities will include overseeing the expanding Hotel K brand, which has nine hotels planned for construction throughout 2026. The first Hotel K property is now nearing completion, marking a major milestone for the brand as it transitions from concept to operational reality.
At the same time, the company’s first Resort K development is only months away from completion, representing the next phase of LUX’s hospitality strategy, combining resort-style amenities with managed accommodation and integrated lifestyle offerings.
Supporting Rapid Portfolio Growth
LUX has significantly expanded its internal team to support its growth trajectory, including the recent appointment of a senior Food and Beverage Manager. This role will oversee the development of restaurants, cafés, and dining concepts across the group’s hotel and resort properties, ensuring a consistent guest experience aligned with five-star hospitality standards.
The General Manager’s mandate includes:
•Implementing scalable operational systems across all accommodation assets
•Building and training hospitality teams aligned with five-star service expectations
•Standardising guest experience across multiple brands
•Managing predominantly Airbnb holiday properties alongside traditional hotel operations
•Supporting the company’s transition into long-term residential and expatriate-focused accommodation
A Dual Market Strategy: Holiday and Residential Living
While LUX has established strong performance within the short-term holiday rental market, the company is increasingly targeting the expatriate and long-term residential market. Future developments are being designed to include substantial residential accommodation alongside hotel and resort inventory.
This strategy is particularly central to Nesara Bay City in Lombok, a large-scale project envisioned as a collection of hotels, resorts, villa estates, and lifestyle communities.
By combining hospitality-driven management with residential infrastructure, LUX aims to create vibrant villages and integrated city environments rather than purely tourism-focused destinations.
Five Projects Underway in Bali, Major Expansion in Lombok
The new leadership appointment comes as LUX advances five active projects across Bali, alongside the large-scale development pipeline in Lombok. As construction timelines accelerate and multiple properties move toward completion, operational readiness has become a key priority.
The CEO noted that hiring an experienced five-star General Manager is a foundational step toward scaling responsibly.
“As we grow from a handful of developments into a broad hospitality network, having leadership experienced in managing complex five-star operations ensures that we build strong teams, consistent standards, and systems that can support long-term expansion.”
With its first Hotel K nearing completion, Resort K only months away from opening, and nine additional Hotel K projects planned for 2026, LUX Property Group is positioning itself as a rapidly emerging player in Indonesia’s integrated hospitality and lifestyle development sector.
