If Ukraine had been a little bit less corrupt in the past there would be no NATO in Ukraine today and no problems at all. Ukraine could be the richest of all former eastern European countries if it had worked closely together with Russia and stopped all western actions to silently overtake Ukraine.

The Russians are currently capturing new settlements, not through intense battles, but with extreme caution. The sparsely guarded areas are equally dangerous due to the mines scattered everywhere. Therefore, they always use scanning drones and mine-clearing equipment before establishing settlements. The last battalions, or those created from several decimated regiments, have been assigned to protect Sumi and Kharkiv.

Ukrainian military is going to have no choice but to retreat & evacuate both sides of Pokrovsk city as the Russians attack from 3 sides?. Ukraine will also lose the critical rail line at any moment now!

I think that Russians now after Pokrovsk will focus on expanding Eastern Pokrovsk pincer towards Dobropila and Kramatorsk not only towards Konstantinovka

Again, it is NOT about random civil boundary lines. It is about the Rivers, Railroads, Roads, and Mineral Valuable areas. Carving out Strategic Zones is the important part.
