OPINION: The Curfew Lie – It Was Never About Our Safety.
As reported in todays @HeraldSun, @SkyNewsAust and mainstream media, Victorians were lied to by disgraced former Premier, Daniel Andrews.
The brutal Andrews Government curfews — which cost jobs, shattered families, and locked us inside our homes for up to 23 hours a day — were NEVER based on public health advice.
The bombshell ‘Document 34’, kept secret for almost five years and only released after a costly tax-payer funded legal battle, proves what many of us suspected all along:
Disgraced ex-Premier Daniel Andrews made the call––a captains call ! Not the health department. Not the experts. It was a political decision, not a medical one.
Victorians deserve to know:
☞ Why were we misled?
☞ Why did the government fight in court for years to keep this secret?
☞ How much taxpayer money was spent hiding the truth?
☞ Should criminal charges now be laid under Victoria’s emergency laws against Andrews, Allan and the Covid Crisis Committee?
☞ This wasn’t a mistake. This was a calculated abuse of power.
☞ And what more from the lockdown files are the Allan Government and Daniel Andrews hiding from us?
Remember––police were ordered to enforce an unlawful curfew. Innocent people were arrested, fined, and publicly humiliated — for going outside.
Small businesses collapsed. Mental health plummeted. Children suffered and tragically, Victorians suicided.
And for what? A LIE.
If you believed Daniel Andrews “kept you safe”, ask yourself this: Why did he and his government go to such lengths to hide the truth from you?
This isn’t about “moving on”. This is about accountability.
The current Premier, Jacinta Allan, sat on the same committee that made the call. She owns this too and should resign. She is unworthy to be Premier.
Daniel Andrews was NEVER worthy to be Premier.
The curfew scandal is a political crime against the people of Victoria. And unless those responsible are held accountable — it will happen again.
