The Russians securing Lyman means effectively the battle for northern Donetsk Oblast is over in Russian favour, then with an eventual victory in Pokrovsk this just leaves the most important Ukrainian strongholds left in Donetsk Oblast (and therefore the Donbass collectively) Sloviansk and Kramatorsk.
