ALEX Jones has issued a dire warning against the US-Israel war against Iran, saying it will not only derail Trump’s economic recovery but send thousands of American troops to their death in an extended Middle East war.
Infowars reports that it has now been confirmed that the Office Of National Intelligence and the Pentagon warned President Trump one week before the Iran War began that in most scenarios, the US would fail massively in regime change in Iran and potentially trigger a global catastrophe.
The report threw cold water on the idea of regime change, which Trump has recently been demanding without response, mullahs who were killed would simply be replaced and the Strait of Hormuz face closure with disastrous results for the US and global economy.
“That information has been purposely leaked by good people in the Pentagon … to try to get trump out of the megalomania mode where he was been totally emboldened by success in Venezuela so far. He’s looking at destabilsing Cuba now … Trump basically thinks he’s running the tables right now,” said Jones in a special broadcast. Jones says Iran is “a different animal to Iraq, Afghanistan, Venezuela, and Cuba – you name it.”
He says Iran is now firing ballistic missiles that are able to out-manoeuvre anti-missile defence systems – hence some very damaging hits on Tel Aviv. “The point is, Iranian weapons are getting more, and more and more sophisticated.”
Meanwhile the surging price of oil is driving up petrol prices across the globe, threatening to worsen the inflationary crisis that has hit housing prices.
Economists warn Australians could be paying $1 a litre more for petrol if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed for up to three months. The shipping lane on Iran’s southern border, where about 20 per cent of the world’s oil and gas is shipped, has been effectively closed as Iran retaliates against the US-Israeli strikes.
Iran has threatened to fire on any ship trying to pass the key waterway, according to Iranian media reports and on Monday a Revolutionary Guards official said a fuel tanker was burning in the Strait after being hit by two drones.
The Iran war sent oil prices surging for a third consecutive day and on Monday spiked as much as 13 per cent to their highest since January 2025.
Until now, Trump has encouraged petrol prices to fall, as part of his economic recovery plan for the US, by opening up exploration and increasing production. But an extended war with high oil prices will effectively destroy that strategy.
Jones says the Israel-US bombardment of Iranian oil facilities would only make the mullahs secure in their power for a long-term war. “It’s going to hurt the general public there and bring them into starvation, just like the sanctions under the Bushes and the worst of the Clintons on Iraq killed millions of people, most of them children.”
On Sunday Trump announced that in order to put an end to the Iran war, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would have to agree to end it. “I think it’s mutual … a little bit. We’ve been talking. I’ll make a decision at the right time, but everything’s going to be taken into account,” Trump told media representatives.
Netanyahu will this week make his sixth visit to the US since President Donald Trump returned to the White House early in 2025.
Jones says he believed Trump was antiwar in his first term but he has started to cozy up to Republican neocons like Lindsey Graham.
When asked by a reporter “Did Israel force your hand to launch these strikes against Iran? Did Netanyahu pull the United States into this war?” Trump answered “No. I might have forced their hand.”
A day earlier Secretary of State Marco Rubio had a different story – that Israel made the decision to attack Iran, and that the U.S. was dragged in after it.
Jones says he’s no Democrat supporter but will support “the right Republicans”. He describes himself as “a 1776 American patriot”, that is America first policies.
His channel is still under threat from hostile forces and last month a federal bankruptcy court rejected a deal that would have cleared the way for a second attempt to auction off the Infowars media company on behalf of the families of alleged Sandy Hook shooting victims who are seeking to collect some of ludicrous sum of $1.3 billion in damages they won through Democrat judges after suing Jones for defamation nearly seven years ago.
Jones is also attacked by hyper-sceptical lunatics who claim he is a “controlled opposition shill”. These people apparently think that the opposition he has faced in recent years is all part of some cleverly-orchestrated campaign of deception.
