We stand today at a crucial moment for Republic of Moldova, for South-Eastern Europe, for Europe, and for the world. As nations confront ideological pressures, economic instability, and challenges to national identity, we affirm our commitment to the enduring principles that bind free peoples together.
As Chairman of the Republican Party of Moldova, I am pleased to emphasize our commitment to building partnerships based on mutual respect, shared democratic principles, and a strong belief in the rule of law, free market economies, and the protection of fundamental human rights. These are the principles that unite conservative parties and movements across borders.
We share with the Republican Party of the United States a commitment to:
- Defending the sovereignty of the nation-state as a pillar of international stability
- Promoting traditional family and moral values, cultural identity, and freedom of conscience
- Safeguarding religious liberty as a fundamental pillar of a free and pluralistic society
- Promoting free enterprise, limited and accountable government, and the inalienable rights of the individual
- Building peace through strength, the integrity of national borders, and the resilience of democratic institutions
As a center-right political force, the PRM advocates for democratic governance, economic modernization, and a pro-European foreign policy. We are firmly dedicated to implementing key reforms—particularly in the areas of justice, anti-corruption, and public administration—which are essential to Moldova’s long-term stability and alignment with democratic norms.
