InfoWars host Owen Shroyer became the latest victim of a “swatting” incident at his home in Austin, Texas in what he calls a “terrorist attack” perpetrated by leftist extremists.
A fake police report claiming Shroyer had shot someone led to a full-blown armed raid on his residence, with at least a dozen officers storming his home with weapons drawn.
Shroyer took to social media to describe the horrifying ordeal.
Shroyer:
“I was just swatted. I figured that this was coming.[…]
Here’s what happened. First, I want to say that I appreciate the Austin police—they had to do their job, and they were professional enough. The situation could have been worse. I did get handcuffed. I had to crawl on the ground, got some scrapes and dirt on me, but it could have been a lot worse. I think they recognized what was happening relatively soon.
A couple of the police officers knew who I was, but they still had to do their job. The fake police report that was filed claimed that I had shot someone in my house. That’s obviously not true. I’m here alone. I live alone.
It could have been a lot worse, but they did enter my house with guns drawn—probably about 12 or so officers on the scene. They tore my house up a little bit, so I’ll have to clean that up. But I want to just say this: this has got to stop. I think, at this point, it has been dozens of people who have been swatted.”
Shroyer pointed fingers directly at the Democrat Party, naming names and calling for federal authorities to act.
“We know what’s going on. The Democrat Party and all of their little street thugs—funded by Act Blue, stolen money from USAID, George Soros, and other groups—are behind it. They are behind the terror attacks against Elon Musk,” he said.
Shroyer also called out the DOJ, the FBI, and Attorney General Pam Bondi, demanding an investigation into what he describes as a RICO-level criminal operation within the Democrat Party.
Shroyer:
“Where is the Department of Justice? Where is the FBI?[…]
I’m looking right at you, Pam Bondi. I’m looking right at the FBI. What is it going to take? Is somebody going to have to die before you actually do something? We’re dealing with a criminal organization. We’re dealing with a terrorist organization. It’s called the Democrat Party. Do you want to start acting accordingly?
Look at what they’ve done to Trump. Look at what they’ve done to Musk. Look at what they’re doing to Trump supporters.
Shroyer also revealed that the federal government stripped him of his right to bear arms over a misdemeanor trespassing charge related to the Jan. 6 event. Even after receiving credible death threats, the federal court refused to restore his Second Amendment rights.
Shroyer:
“This is not the first time something like this has happened to me. I get death threats at my house all the time.You want to know how messed up it really is?
I get credible death threats to my house all the time. Then, I show a federal judge. And in case you didn’t know this—I don’t like to talk about this because there are others still going through it—but it’s time to just clear the air.
They took my Second Amendment rights away over a misdemeanor trespassing charge. They took my guns. I was getting death threats to my house and my phone. We submitted that evidence to a federal court to assert my right to self-defense, and they denied me. They denied me.”
