TIMES of India has reported that Iran launched some 35 ballistic missiles toward Israel in a single wave, marking a sharp escalation in direct hostilities.
While several were intercepted by Israel’s multi-layered air defense systems, others breached the shield, with debris and fragments landing across multiple areas.
Israeli police confirmed numerous impact reports, though no direct hits on major urban centers have been verified. Medics said at least one man was lightly injured in northern Israel, while others were treated for anxiety and shelter-related injuries.
The sustained barrage is stretching defensive capabilities and intensifying fears, as officials warn that additional missile waves could follow in the coming hours.
The news outlet also reported Iranian missiles hitting US bases in the Gulf states. The ABC also reported the strikes in Gulf states including the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
The Iranian Fars News Agency reported blasts in Boushehr, Tabriz, Dezfoul, Nahavand, Khark Island and Kangavar, while Tasnim news agency reports blasts have been heard in Isfahan, Ilam and Qom.
