The feud between U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reached new heights following some nasty comments made by the Ukrainian president earlier this week.
As Jim Hoft previously reported, far-left 60 Minutes on Sunday spoke with Zelenskyy about the ongoing war in Ukraine and peace negotiations. During the interview, Zelensky stated that he wants President Trump to visit Ukraine before any peace negotiations are signed.
Zelenskyy also whined that an “altered reality” has taken hold within the Trump administration, falsely accusing officials of spreading Russian propaganda regarding the ongoing war with Ukraine.
“I believe, sadly, Russian narratives are prevailing in the U.S.,” he whimpered. “This speaks to the enormous influence of Russia’s information policy on America, on U.S. politics, and U.S. politicians.”
Zelenskyy then launched a vile attack against Vance, claiming without evidence that the VP was “somehow justifying Putin’s actions.”
Vance responded to Zelenskyy’s remarks in an interview with British outlet Unherd that was published on Tuesday. He went off on Zelenskyy for lying and pointed out that Ukraine would be under total Russian control without America.
“I think it’s sort of absurd for Zelenskyy to tell the (U.S.) government, which is currently keeping his entire government and war effort together, that we are somehow on the side of the Russians,” Vance said.
“That doesn’t mean you morally support the Russian cause, or that you support the full-scale invasion, but you do have to try to understand what are their strategic red lines, in the same way that you have to try to understand what the Ukrainians are trying to get out of the conflict,” Vance continued.
Vance went on to call Zelenskyy’s vile comments “certainly not productive.”
This latest back-and-forth between the two brings to mind Zelenskyy’s infamous White House visit back in late February. As TGP readers know, Trump and Vance teamed up to epically put Zelenskyy in his place after he whined about their plan to bring an end to the Russia-Ukraine war.
“I’m talking about the kind of diplomacy that’s going to end the destruction of your country,” Vance stated. “Mr. President, with respect, do you think it’s respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and litigate this in front of the American media?”
“Right now, you guys are forcing conscripts to go to the front lines because you have manpower problems,” Vance continued. “You should be thanking the president…”
This really angered Zelenskyy, who promptly got defensive and accused Vance of not knowing what he was talking about. However, Vance had a great reply in store, which the Ukrainian leader was not ready for.
“I have actually watched and seen the stories, and I know what happens is that you bring people on a propaganda tour,” Mr. President Vance replied. “Do you disagree that you have problems?”
“And do you think it respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and attack the administration that is trying to prevent the destruction of your country?”
