FORMER Liberal candidate and Sydney lawyer Catherine Deves, is under no illusions about Albanese’s so-called “backdown” on the hate speech and gun control legislation trumpeted by The Australian.
Albanese, rather than backing down, has simply taken one step backwards by splitting the Bill into two and passing an even worse hate speech bill amended by the Greens and Teals who want even more “endangered species” protections for the LGBTQ activist mob.
Deves, who ran unsucessfully in the former blue-ribbon Liberal seat of Waringah in 2022, is not afraid of using the word communist to describe her opposition.
Wikipedia notes: “She has been criticised for her views and public statements about transgender people,and is a self-described TERF, or trans-exclusionary radical feminist.” Oh shock horror! There’s even a bunch of Liberals who would find her “a challenge”.
Deves, in a social media post, accurately outlined the Albo tactic and purpose of his notorious Bills that he wants to ram through the Parliament in an emergency sitting tomorrow.
