Gotta love those snouts-in-the-trough Liberal values! After all, they just lost the Libs the federal election, so they KNOW they’re on the right track.
Yes, they’re out there now “talking to the people” who didn’t elect them, “listening” to their base. Yeah right, they’ll be out there inviting the rusted-on remnants of the Libs to a cosy morning tea, chewing the fat and patting each other on their rusty backs.
We know that because …… drum roll ….. the Victorian Libs just “loaned” former leader John Pesutto $1.55m of bacon bits to save him being Deemed bankrupt after disgustingly defaming Moira Deeming. More importantly though, it will save the Libs from a by-election if Prosciutto Pesutto was kicked out of parliament upon his bacon becoming bankrupt. We won’t drag him through his own muddy pigsty, but it’s OK to stick his snout in our trough.
I suppose it costs them $1.55m to run a by-election to get a failed “leader” up, defending the indefensible, so why not give it to one of their mates for faithful service, to be paid back with interest at “the going rate”. Next stop, one of those Australia Day gongs!
The Libs have sure got their values and priorities right, and the little piggies will no doubt bring home the bacon for them at the next election with another resounding defeat and a great big Net Zero blackout. Valé the Libs. We can be comforted knowing it was their administrative committee who forced through the decision, so it was jobs for the same old boys – saving Pesutto’s bacon.
Good to know it didn’t come from donations to the Libs from the party faithful or energy companies or anything like that! They’ve worked out their rusted on base might not like eating crackled bacon.
Moira Deeming, who offered Prosciutto Pesutto virtually the same payment terms for the $1.55m balance of the $2.3m legal costs, was shocked the Libs had stumped up. In negotiations she’d also offered to delay bankruptcy proceedings in exchange for guaranteeing her pre-selection for the 2026 state election, but Pesutto knocked that back. It’s those Liberal values coming to the fore – defend the indefensible, stand for nothing, and nothing will change. Net Zero result looming.
There’s a groundswell especially in Victoria now against Net Zero and the Ruin-a-bull transmission lines, toxic solar factories and Bird-blender turbines “structurally adjusting” their property and lifestyle and trespassing on their land by government decree, for something unreliable, intermittent and unviable that can’t deliver low and efficient power in a pink fit.
Spoiler Alert: That’s why voters are looking for Independents or another political group to stand up for those people the Libs are talking to right now because they won’t vote for Libs. They’d need to fight Net Zero, and let everyone know that ALL governments and most local Councils are actually wilfully ignoring their own National Energy Rules. At the moment, they are all operating (unlawfully) outside of these rules! Those Rules state that we must have an energy grid and service that is secure, reliable, safe and affordable.
Well, that’s a distant memory now, although they’ve all “Deemed” Ruin-a-bulls to be more cost effective and efficient. This is while energy costs rise exponentially “because of renewables”, we were just told.
Is that because there are too many political piggies with their proverbial snouts in the energy kickback trough? Are they just busy scoffing it up while they ride roughshod over the plebs, and before everyone finds out it’s a great big scam on the taxpayer? Ahhh yes, the Libs are certainly between a rock and a hard place, with Net Zero delivery to the punters. Pesutto’s bacon is just Deemed symptomatic of the woke political piggies with their porky snouts in the taxpayer trough.
