Prince Harry’s Controversial African Charity Expelled From Chad for ‘Arrogance and Financial Misconduct’ | The Gateway Pundit
Harry’s African charities are a constant source of trouble.

Charity shenanigans.

Around the world, many charitable initiatives are involved in shady practices, especially in underdeveloped regions.

Back in April 2024, we reported here in TGP on how Prince Harry’s ‘African Parks’ conservation charity was facing ‘renewed torture allegations’.

It turned out that a former park ranger admitted to tying up suspects and beating them.

Since then, another of Harry’s charities have been in the spotlight, as the chairwoman of the Sentebale organization accused Harry of racism and bullying, leading to an investigation by Britain’s Charity Commission.

Now, it arises that the African Parks conservation charity has been removed from its role managing protected parks in the African nation of Chad ‘amid accusations of arrogance, serious financial misconduct and failing to protect wildlife’.

The Telegraph reported:

“Prince Harry served the charity, African Parks, as president from 2017 to 2023, before joining its board. The charity – established in 2000 – manages 24 protected areas across 13 African countries, with financial support from billionaire philanthropists such as Howard Buffett and Bill Ackman.

But Hassan Bakhit Djamous, the environment minister of Chad, has announced that the government’s 15-year long partnership with the charity would be coming to an end ‘with immediate effect’.”

African Parks is no longer tasked with the protection of wildlife and the environment in the Ennedi area and the Greater Zakouma Ecosystem.

“In a four-page document, the ministry of environment, fishing and durable development alleged grave breaches of contract and financial irregularities, accusing African Parks of maintaining unaudited accounts and a lack of transparency over how the charity raised revenue, according to The Times.

The Chad government also alleged that the charity collected tourism revenues, used tax-haven bank accounts in the Isle of Man and the transfer of capital abroad ‘to the detriment of Chad and in flagrant violation of national banking and tax regulations’. Mr. Djamous said the charity had shown a ‘recurring, indelicate and disrespectful attitude towards the government’.”
