Disgraced former CNN host Don Lemon unleashed a venomous, profanity-laced rant on his failing podcast, claiming that “white men radicalized to the right” pose the single greatest threat to America, then spent nearly ten minutes hurling insults, dredging up personal attacks, and berating Megyn Kelly and Glenn Greenwald for daring to question him.
The outburst came on Thursday on The Don Lemon Show podcast after Lemon was triggered by criticism from Sirius XM host Megyn Kelly and journalist Glenn Greenwald.
Both called him out for his lies against “White men” earlier in the week.
According to the New York Post:
Former CNN anchor Don Lemon launched into a bizarre, explosive rant blaming white men as the “real issue” behind mass violence in America.
“White men, are you okay? You’re sending troops, National Guard to cities,” Lemon said on the latest episode of his podcast. “You keep talking about ooh, Chicago and black-on-black crime. I wanna know: White men, are you okay? Because that is the real issue here.”
“This country keeps waking up to bodies in the pews, blood on the floor, gunfire in public places and the faces behind the trigger looks the same nearly every single time,” he added.
The 59-year-old — who is married to a white man — doubled down on his claim, saying, “This is just the truth, I don’t care if you get mad about it.”

“White men, something is broken, something is cracked, deep inside you. So many of you believe the answer is violence. Are you listening?” he said. “I hope I’m saying it loud enough for the people in the back.”
Megyn Kelly took aim at Lemon’s racialized framing on her show and even pointed out the obvious hypocrisy: Lemon is married to a white man.
“Okay, so it’s White men who he says are the problem in America. That’ll be news to his husband, who happens to be a White man.”
On Thursday’s episode, Lemon went full scorched-earth, spending nearly 12 minutes frothing at the mouth, accusing Kelly and Greenwald of racism (irony alert!), deflecting to “MAGA talking points,” and threatening to “light your ass up.”
Don Lemon:
“To have an honest conversation about what the FBI stats show as it relates to political violence and domestic terror in this country and who commits it, who commits it more often, without deflecting to Black people, which is what you’re doing. It is the definition of racist, and you can’t even see it.You get upset about that, but when are you having those conversations? The whole point of what I was saying is that I hear you talking about Black people all the time.
I hear you talking about Latino people all the time, and other people are criminals, and who’s committing—it’s not crime. It’s never white people. It’s never white men. It’s never what the stats show.
Do we have issues that we need to solve in different communities? Absolutely, but that’s not what I was talking about. Why do you have to deflect? What is it when they say, “A hit dog will holler”? That’s why I say Megyn Kelly and Glenn Greenwald—they don’t want to talk about political violence, because if they did, they would have to face the truth of much of what we talked about today.
The greatest threat of political violence in America today is white men radicalized to the right. That is fact. But they never want to have that conversation.
Instead, they change the subject. They redirect. They take a question about insurrections, mass shootings, and terrorism, and they turn it into a debate about what?
About crime overall, because you have to deflect it somewhere. You got to keep your base. You got to fire them up. You can’t tell the truth, which is so indicative of what happens with MAGA right now.
Why? So that they can recycle the same old racist talking points that Black men are the real problem. It is the laziest pivot in American media.”
