TUCKER Carlson has fueled a firestorm of indignation by questioning the long-standing honeymoon between US Christian churches and Israeli governments.
Contrary to what Israeli government spokesmen claim, Tucker says indigenous Christians in Israel and the West Bank are shrinking in numbers.
The Israeli government courts US Christians, to the extent of recently flying hundreds of US church pastors in to Israel to attend seminars featuring long-standing Christian Zionist speakers from organisations such as the ICEJ (the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem).
The massive blow to Israel’s propaganda efforts happened when Turning Point USA leader Charlie Kirk, turned against his Jewish donors and the Israeli state over the course of a year. Kirk had been Israel’s No. 1 Christian Zionist asset and became their No. 1 liability.
Carlson further added to the PR disaster for Israel by interviewing Rev. Munther Isaac, a Palestinian Christian leader representing the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, who along with his church community is completely ignored by the US evangelical community.
