Sydney driver to face a hearing today at Waverley local today after being charged for flying the banner of Jesus Christ our Saviour.

The man was taking part in the annual Sydney 9th of May Victory Parade convoy in 2024 on Bondi Beach were he was pulled over by Highway patrol and charged with driving with an unsecured load.

Why was this Christian Orthodox religious flag singled out? We all know that NSW Police never charge the thousands of other motorists who drive around with Sydney Swans flags, Australia day flags, Socceroos flags, Samoan flags etc.
