Yesterday on her show, Candace Owens called out several of the early witnesses interviewed after Charlie Kirk’s assassination, pointing out how scripted and inconsistent their stories sounded. While she didn’t name him directly, one of the witnesses who quickly made the rounds on local news that day was Skylar Baird.
New footage has now surfaced from 2012 showing Baird under a different name — Robbie Parker — at a Sandy Hook press conference. In the video, he’s caught on a hot mic laughing, smiling, and joking with the crew just seconds before the cameras start rolling. The moment the countdown hits zero, the smile disappears and he instantly switches into an emotional, grieving father mode.
This is the same man who positioned himself extremely close to Charlie Kirk during the assassination and later gave multiple interviews repeating the same story. He’s also a member of the Screen Actors Guild and has a documented history of inserting himself into high-profile national events.
Even more alarming, when independent journalist Nissy (@Niss_Cee) interviewed him, Baird made several statements that only raised more red flags — including admitting he “hoped there wouldn’t be a shooting” before the UVU event, and casually mentioning getting a call from an Israeli radio station right after Charlie was killed. Even his own kid think’s he was involved.
Google Trends data also showed unusual spikes for searches related to Skylar Baird coming from Israel and Washington D.C. in the days leading up to the assassination.
This isn’t a grieving witness. This is a professional operator who has been deployed before.

Candace Owens highlighted major inconsistencies in early witness accounts from the Charlie Kirk assassination. One student, Sarah Tool, first told Fox 13 that she saw Charlie get shot directly in the chest with blood gushing from his heart. Just 51 minutes later, she gave another interview claiming he was shot in the neck instead.
In a third interview with ABC News, her story evolved even further. She suddenly claimed the shooter was about 200 yards away — a distance that conveniently matches the Lozi Center building. Candace points out how strange it is that multiple early witnesses initially described a shot to the chest before changing their stories.
These shifting accounts raise serious questions about whether some of the first people to speak to the media were crisis actors helping shape a specific narrative from the very beginning.
