Greece Signed a €3 Billion air Defense Deal with Israel, and it comes with a Catch: No Source Code

The head of Israel’s Missile Defense Organization, confirmed that access to the command and control software was never part of the deal, despite Athens wanting more control over the system’s architecture.
That means Greece will run the Spyder, Barak MX and David’s Sling systems without full access to the proprietary software controlling them.
Instead, Israel will provide ongoing support, maintenance and future upgrades.
So Greece owns a defense system it can’t actually look inside. That sounds just great…
Personally, I think you need to be out of your mind to sign any deal with Israel, specifically when it comes to defense or intelligence.
