A young woman who witnessed the assassination of Charlie Kirk has posted a video describing how leftists in the crowd were cheering after he was fatally shot.
Kirk, 31, a beloved husband and father to two very young children, was fatally shot in the neck on Wednesday while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University.
“I just witnessed Charlie Kirk get assassinated,” the tearful young woman begins. “It was the most awful thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”
She continues, “They shot him in the neck and blood went everywhere.”
“The worst part of it all was that the liberals who were there were cheering,” she said, still very visibly shaken.

She urged the people who were cheering, and those who identify with them, to “take a look at yourself and think, ‘is this who I really want to be?’”
A video posted to social media appears to show a person in the crowd cheering, but The Gateway Pundit has not been able to independently confirm its authenticity.

In the wake of the shooting, authorities detained and subsequently released two persons of interest after interrogation.
The shooter is believed to still be on the loose.
Utah Governor Spencer Cox has stated that Kirk’s killing was a “political assassination.”
President Donald Trump, speaking from the Oval Office, condemned the killing as “an assassination” and a “dark moment for America.” He praised Kirk as a “patriot who devoted his life to open debate,” linking the tragedy to recent attacks on political figures, including two attempts on his own life.
