“The cigar-chomping MAGA Congressman who fought hard to keep the DOJ’s “Epstein Files” sealed once shared a foreign trips funded by Jeffrey Epstein’s brother with the sex scandal-hit House colleague he defended.”
“Rep. Troy Nehls, 57, known as the “Final Epstein Files Holdout,” travelled with his under-fire Republican colleague, Rep. Tony Gonzales, 45, to Kyiv, Ukraine, in mid-August 2021, on a six-day trip co-sponsored by the Mark Epstein-directed “Humpty Dumpty Institute,” according to House Ethics Committee disclosure documents analyzed by The Daily Beast.”
On August 14, 2021 they met with Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kiev at a high-stakes meeting facilitated by Epstein’s “Humpty Dumpty Institute” and key Netanyahu-Trump advisor and confidant, Israel’s Sergeant Jonny Daniels.
“The non-profit organization had Mark Lawrence Epstein — the younger brother of the late convicted sex offender — on its Board of Directors for nearly two decades, and had also developed links to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).”
“The trip, which came two years after Jeffrey Epstein’s high-profile 2019 death, cost a combined $46,933.34 for the three congressmen who took it, disclosure forms show.” It was the most expensive Congressional trip of 2021, according to Newsmax.
“Nehls defended Gonzales — who faces ongoing calls to resign over allegations that he pressured a staffer who subsequently died by suicide into an extramarital affair-insisting that party politics must come first.”
