Penny Wong has just imposed targeted sanctions on 60 vessels linked to Russia’s shadow fleet.

This is the first time Australia has imposed sanctions against Russia’s shadow fleet.

PS. Russia’s fleet does not actually deliver any Russian oil direct to Australia. Russia sells oil to India who then resells the Russian oil as Indian oil to Australia.

Penny Wong should be putting sanctions on India not Russia. This is just another virtue signalling farce by the Australian Government.
