Israeli Settler Violence in West Bank Surges by Sixty Three Percent

Attacks by Israeli settlers across the occupied West Bank surged by 63 percent during the first seven months of this year compared to the exact same period in 2025, according to data published by the Colonization & Wall Resistance Commission.
The official Palestinian body recorded a staggering 4,113 aggressive incidents between January and July, reflecting an increase of 1,589 violations from the 2,524 cases documented during the prior year.
This sharp acceleration coincides with the sweeping expansion of illegal settlements throughout the occupied territory alongside the systematic arming of settlers, who frequently operate under the direct protection or gaze of Israeli military forces.
Authorities note that the environment of political and legal enablement has transformed these violent acts into an organized instrument for displacing indigenous communities.
The commission further estimated that the total population of settlers residing across the occupied territories, including East Jerusalem, reached approximately 780,000 by the conclusion of July.
